Mossy Cave is another one of Utah's many hidden gems. Located just a couple of miles from the tiny country town of Tropic, the cave always puts on a dazzling display of icicles during the winter months. The short 1/2-mile trail leads hikers past colorful hoodoos and summertime waterfalls. The cave is actually located within the confines of Bryce Canyon National Park, but it's in a detached area not accessible via the park's entrance.
