"Cannonville Ranch"

February 2010, Cannonville, Utah

I came across this pastoral scene as I drove through the tiny rural community of Cannonville near Bryce Canyon, Utah. I had to shoot several takes of the scene because the horses were moving around a lot, apparently somewhat on edge due to the unusual presence of a stranger. I finally got a shot in which they both stood still.
