This view shows the walkway as it probes deep into the heart of the Big Room. The incredible colors and formations provide an unforgettable experience for those fortunate enough to visit the caverns. Regarding the color, actually the caverns themselves are pretty much colorless. The fanciful hues seen in this image are a direct result of the multi-colored lights that the park service uses for illumination.
