"San Simeon Schoolhouse and Hearst Castle"

Occupying some of the most breathtaking real estate on earth, Hearst Castle dominates the landscape as it overlooks the recently rebuilt 134-year-old San Simeon Schoolhouse. Sitting high atop La Cuesta Encantada (The Enchanted Hill), the castle is actually more than 3 miles away from the tiny schoolhouse. I used a long telephoto lens to make the two structures seem much closer together than they really are.
