Those eyes
August 1987, two months before our wedding.
The first time I saw Lenée was in church in the summer of 1985. I was immediately taken by her beauty. We became friends almost immediately, and remained such for 2 years. On the 4th of July, 1987 Lenée fell in love with me. She actually has it written down in her diary. I was already in love with her, so this was a very good thing. I proposed less than 2 weeks later on July 17. She said yes, and we set a wedding date for Oct 24, only 99 days later. This allowed enough time to plan a very nice wedding, but at the same time kept the wait to a minimum. That wedding day couldn't come fast enough.
