A love for bikes
September 1999, somewhere in the western USA
Lenée and I loved motorcycle riding. In fact we first became friends because we both had our own bikes. During the first few years of our marriage we rode all over the western USA, hitting almost every state west of the Mississippi.
On September 29, 1999, just one week after I took this picture, Lenée was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at the age of 38. Our lives certainly changed at that point, but our love only continued to grow.
