"Limekiln Falls"

Surprisingly, Big Sur does not play host to very many waterfalls. At the extreme southern end is Salmon Creek Falls, whereas Big Sur Falls and McWay Falls are found in the northern area. The only remaining waterfall in Big Sur is Limekiln Falls, pictured here. The water flow is certainly down due to the extreme drought of recent years, but the 100' cascade is still beautiful to behold. The waterfall is located in Limekiln State Park, about a mile from the tiny coastal village of Lucia.
