The designation "Highway 1" is certainly befitting one of the most beautiful roads to be found anywhere. I've driven the Pacific Coast Highway its entire length from Baja to Canada, but the 90-mile stretch between Cambria and Carmel is beyond compare. Here we see the sinuous curves of PCH as it follows the southern end of the rugged Big Sur coastline. Shot at sunset.
