I have stopped at this beautiful old oak tree more times than I can count. It's about 175 miles from my home in southern California, but it happens to be on a road that I take often on my way to the central coast. It doesn't matter if I'm on a motorcycle just out for a day ride, or headed to Big Sur for a photography trip, as was the case here. Either way, a stop at this beloved tree is mandatory.
