The Miller House is one of the few buildings open to the public. Its original tenant, Tom Miller, worked for the Mono Lake Railway and Lumber Company at Mono Mills, approximately 25 miles south of Bodie. Mono Mills was the main supplier of lumber used in the construction of Bodie.
