Some would argue that the gas station and truck pictured here are the centerpieces of Bodie. The 1927 Dodge Graham truck featured in this picture still runs and makes an annual appearance (under its own power) in nearby Bridgeport’s Fourth of July parade. Sadly, the truck was repainted a couple of years after I shot this image, and the truck no longer has that vintage appearance.
