IOOF stands for “International Order of Odd Fellows”. About 2 weeks after I took this shot, I returned to Bodie only to find that the wagon had been damaged, likely by a careless tourist. The handle on the front of the wagon had been completely broken off. I have returned to Bodie many times since, and have not seen the wagon back on display. It’s a shame that a moment’s carelessness can destroy over 150 years of history.
