I live in Stevenson Ranch, California with my beautiful wife Lenée and 1 child. We don't have any children of the human variety, but rather the fur-bearing type. Our son, Oswald, is a chubby Holland-Lop bunny who just turned ten in March 2013. His favorite pastimes are eating, snacking and begging for food. He has brought us much joy over the past 10 years and we are so grateful to have him.
As for me, I'm the son of a Navy fighter pilot, and I grew up on bases and moved around a lot as a child. I've been involved with photography for over 30 years now, and have shot most of the popular film formats including 4x5, 6x17, 6x12, 35mm, and now full frame digital.
In the past people have told me that I'm a great artist. While I appreciate the kind words, nothing could be further from the truth. I'm a decent photographer, but a terrible artist. I can't even draw good stick people - just ask my wife. The real artist is God, the creator of heaven and earth. Like millions of other people, I have stood in literal awe upon exiting the Wawona Tunnel into Yosemite Valley. I've experienced the indescribable beauty of the caverns that lie beneath the Chihuahuan Desert near Carlsbad, New Mexico. I was blessed to have the Grand Canyon almost completely to myself after 3 successive record-breaking storms in January 2010. The list goes on, but the point is that God has made a planet of astonishing, indeed mesmerizing grandeur. When you then began to think how small the earth is in the midst of the universe, one cannot help but wonder what else is out there.
Thanks to all who have sent me such kind messages about my photography, but the true praise belongs to God and Jesus. "All things were made through Him (Jesus), and without Him nothing was made that was made" (John 1:3 NKJV).
Please stop by from time to time as I am constantly adding new images to my portfolio. Thanks for visiting!
